My Chase debit card is being continously charged the amount of $27.96 for 16 times already as of today. I called the number listed on my bank statement and the person do not have anything showing on their system about a " Large Edition Mag" that supposedly had been ordered from them. I was told some body from the warehouse will call me (that was since last week ) and no one called. The telephone number attached to my bank statement is 800-807-2780. I never authorized and never ordered whatever this Large Edition Mag that they claim to be. This is positively an identity theft as far as I am concerned.

  • My bank have contacted me about this today. "Large Edition Mag" for $27.96. They put a stop on my credit card and are sending me a new one. I have never signed up for Readers Digest so I don't know where they have gotten my details from. Thankfully my bank had the good sense to confirm this dodgy activity on my card and stopped them from scamming any money out of me. They need to be stopped!
