A young girl came to our door selling kids books to raise money for a trip for school. She claimed she lived down the street. We had only lived in our house about 2 months and didn't know too many neighbors yet. I felts sorry for her. I ordered 15 books for $165.00. She told me I would have them before Christmas. I started writing to NXcess on 12/28/10 when I still hadn't received the books I ordered. Got no reply. I wrote to the BBB and filed a complaints and finally received 3 books. That was at the end of January 2011. I have been writing to NXcess ever since, questioning where are the rest of the books I ordered and paid for. I also have been in touch with BBB and the Attorney General's office where I filed complaints.NXcess replied to BBB and said 3 books is all I paid for. So basicly BBB won't do anything else and Attorney General's Office told me to hire a attorney, there is nothing else they can do. I just got my response back from BBB and Attorney General's office October 2011. I have been fighting to get my money back or get the other 12 books all year. And because NXcess said that was all I ordered, then so be it! The three books I got were not worth $165.00 I would never pay that much money for 3 books. My grandchildren live with me and love to read. I could have bought a lot of books for $165.00. It just makes me mad that NXcess Sales, LLC is still in business, that Attorney General's Office can't do more to shut them down. I sent another complaint to them stating just that, they should get on the internet and see how many consumers have been ripped off, and do what the people pay them to do, their job! protecting consumers.
