I filled out an online application for a payday advance/personal loan from one of those companies that submits your info to several lenders. I got a phone call from (850) 615-5919 telling me that I had been approved for a loan. (I also got phone calls from several other companies). They wanted me to show that I had funds to make the first payment so I purchased a green dot money pak, which I'd never done before and didn't realize that someone else can take money off the card. It is NOT a prepaid Visa or MC so there is no protection if your money is stolen. I gave "Jonathan Reid" (who had a very thick Indian accent) the confirmation # of my greendot card and he took my money. Now when I call the # back they will not connect me to this person and they will not give me my # back.
