I applied online for a $1000 loan. I received an email from [email protected] with the name of John Smith informing me that my request for a loan had been received and I was approved for a loan up to the amount of $5000 with a repayment of terms of 18 months. The email stated I needed to contact them to finish the qualifying process. The phone number is 979-871-7899 and the contact person was Mark Wilson (Sr. Loan Officer). Mr. Wilson stated that my credit score was a little too low and that I needed to show proof that I had the funds to make the required monthly payment of $300. Fortunately I did not have that amount in my account and informed Mr. Wilson that I get paid this upcoming Friday. Mr. Wilson informed me that he would place the loan on hold and contact me on Friday to finish the process and we ended the call. Luckily for me I had the rest of the day to ponder on the offer and because I felt victim of a scam before that has continued to haunt me, I decided to look up the information on the email documents and found this site with similiar complaints. I'm struggling to make ends meet but I'm glad I didn't lose any money out of this scam. My advice to all of you is "if it sounds to good to be true...chances are it probably is". The documents stated that the loan was coming directly from Priority Payday Loan Servicing LLC.
