This company called me, my employer, and several family members claiming that they had a debt to be collected from me from Western Sky loans and that if I did not respond I would be arrested and served with bad check charges. This was back in March of this year. When I called to number back, I was directed to a "Gloria" who informed me that I had to pay their "client" payments of 138.43 every 2 weeks and any variation from this would result in myself being arrested. I was, of course, scared of ruining my perfect background so I agreed to the terms on a "recorded line" and they proceeded to take money on a two week basis from march until August 4th of this year. This was supposed to stop the first week in July, however they kept taking the money from my account, leading me to call my bank to close my card and dispute the extra charges as well as further research the company. Upon further research, I discovered that this company is a scam and doesn't really collect for any creditor. After I discovered this, I promptly alerted my bank and they proceeded with fraud research. When my bank contacted Resner, Klein, and Assoc. with the alleged fraud, the company (Gloria) proceeded to again contact me, my employer, and my family harassing them saying I am going to be charged with fraud because I'm accusing them of fraud after they have me on a recorded line saying I agreed to the terms. This harassment has continued daily for the past week.
