I was contacted by a company named Cash Advance on October 5 about a loan I wanted to obtain. I was told I had to make a "good-faith" show of $131 to obtain my funds that day. I purchased the Green-Dot card as I was instructed to and put the $131 on it. I was then informed that since my credit wasn't good enough, I needed to make an additional deposit. On October 8, I purchased another card with a balance of $200. I was told that since I put the wrong amount on the Green-Dot card, another deposit of $199 was needed. I did all of that and was supposed to receive my funds today. When I didn't receive my funds, I called and was told that I had to pay taxes on the loan before I would receive it.The taxes were a total of $256. I refused and now I am out $530.
