Approximately a year ago, I purchased the "Flex-Hose" and while I love the concept, the size and ease of use, I find the hose itself to be sub-standard. With an average use of 2X per week for one year, the hose "exploded" at the bib line rendering it completely unuseable. While the rubber hoses we're all used to are cumbersome and somewhat heavy to handle....they simply last much longer than these flex hoses. Too bad.
