I heard about this product, Garcinia Cambogia on the Dr.Oz show.

I went online and placed my order June 30,2013. I called July 1, 2013 to cancel the order and was advised, its too late it has already gone to shipping and my Visa has been billed.

I was provided with the following instruction:Please return the item to the following address and include the RMA# below in order to receive a refund:Returns Department-Angry Elephant-14245 Artesia Blvd La Mirada, CA 90638. Once receive the product back,we will process a refund. Sincerly, Charlie Customer Service Representative 888 857 8325.

Weeks go by, I dont receive a package so I call again and was advised the package is likely tied up in Customs.

Six weeks later, the package arrives and is immediately returned, unopened to the company.

Today is October 2nd, 2013. I placed another call to Angry Elephant, to see if the package had again cleared customs.

After speaking with Lai Mender, employee #121995, I was advised that no refund would be forthcoming for the following reasons-
I had refused delivery (No I returned package unopened as per their instructions)
I did not pay the shipping and postage (The one thing they did get correct)
I missed the 14 day return policy!

I asked repeatedly to speak with Lai's supervisor and was refused. After a very long and round about conversation,and Lai telling me she was fully trained to handle my call, informed me that no supervisor was available
and hung up.

During this conversation I even offered to have the shipping and handling deducted from the total amount of my $173.40 purchase. This was also not an option.

In closing, this company has taken my money for a product I no longer have and has refused to refund my purchase even though I followed their directions to the letter.

How do I get my money back? Please help.

  • Call your credit card company and ask them to Charge back / dispute the charges.. You have 18 months from the date of purchase to do this. The credit card company will reverse the charges and a credit will be applied to your card
