It was a young gentlman who came to my door. He said he was selling books for a hospital (and I could even pick my own hospital) so he could raise money for a trip to Italy. He seemed to have a lot of information so I thought he was legit. He will go on and on about POINTS that he's trying to add up. DO NOT WRITE ANY CHECKS OR GIVE CASH. They take the checks and cash them immediately. You do NOT get a chance to cancel. If you have already written a check CALL YOUR BANK and see if it has gone through.
