I was a member of ancestry.com a few years ago and I ended my subscription after it extended way longer than I expected. In August 2013, I went to their website to become a "guest at no obligation" and the understanding was that if I cancelled my guest subscription prior to 30 days, it would not cost anything. I went online in mid September at least a week prior to the 30 days to cancel but it said I didn't need to do anything to cancel a guest subscription, now they have charged me $7.95 as of 9/26/13 and no doubt continue charging me. Their number on my credit notation 888-896-4422 offers me a trip to the Bahamas, said stay on the line and disconnects each time I call. I just want this charge to stop without being billed for September. Thank you.
