Responded to an ad I posted on Usedregina.com saying he would send me the money for the item then have his shipping agent contact me for shipping. I recieved a cheque in the mail for five times the amount of the agreed price with no return address and a different name on the cheque. When I asked him about this, this was his response:
"Hello, thanks for confirming payment receipt. James Clary is my secretary and the cheque is from Huntington bank. The payment include both your item price and my shipper's funds too. The shipper will be picking up some furniture and electronics for me in other places so the shipping costs was on a high side. As soon as you get the payment deposited at your bank, deduct your price of $500 for the guitar while the remaining funds is for my shipping agent. Contact me back once you have it deposited, so I can give you my shipper information for the remaining balance to be sent and immediately the shipper receive the funds, will contact you regarding pick up arrangements such as date and time for pick up. Thank you."
James Clary was the name used on the cheque.
