Same as everyone. Took a five question "survey" for a free gift on what looked like an ebay site. Paid the $4.95 shipping and handling and since it seemed affiliated with ebay I was not concerned. When it popped up again on another site, I started to suspect and found all the hidden links and terms. Not affiliated with ebay or anybody else, it was not a survey or free gift, it was a trial with a permanent ongoing subscription if you didn't cancel. Nothing on the invoice that came with the product about terms or cancellation, just one line about risk free trial. Called a "questions" phone number and got an automated message indicating I had just cancelled my subscription, apparently the only reason any one would be calling. But they had already billed my credit card $97.88. AuraVie offered $50 after putting me on hold forever, and I said no, I would dispute with my credit card company. Mastercard said they couldn't do anything because there was a terms and conditions link on their offer site, although it was virtually impossible to find...nor with the survey scam and ebay "affiliation" would anyone think to look. Absolutely fabulous scam to offer a gift in huge print and then bury charges for your "gift" in nearly hidden links and then claim you agreed to those terms. And Mastercard, at least, plays along. You can't do that when you advertise mortgage rates, or sell cars, or any other standard business. So at a minimum I'll notify the state attorney general...class action anyone?
