I clicked on an advertisement on the side of a web page claiming i could order methadone pills without a prescription. I was pretty sure it was total BS so I decided to investigate. I was able to place the order without providing any sort of payment. The site claimed I would receive my prescription the following day. The following day came anUKd I got an email saying they needed my phone number to verify my order. Wanting to investigate further, I gave it to them and they called within 30 minutes. The man on the phone had a middle eastern accent and claimed his name was Robert. He told me I could only pay with Green Dot or Western Union. I told him I would be using Western Union. He told me a name to send the money ($350.00) to. Liam something... And he told me to send it to Goa, India. He said when I was at Western Union not to say anything about the money being for medication, to say it was for my boyfriend overseas. This is very obviously a scam to anyone with half a brain. So take my advice and NEVER send anyone money unless you are ABSOLUTELY sure it's legitimate. All legitimate businesses will accept credit cards. There is no legitimate business that will only accept untraceable forms of payment. Purchasing medication without physically seeing a doctor and getting a legitimate prescription is illegal in the US anyways. The only reason I even attempted to was to see if this was legitimate and it very obviously is not.
