I registered my private entreprenership (PE) business in 2007 in Astana for around one month. The system of online work and business support was not developed in private sector as it nows. At that time I got a job offer in other city and I applied for liqiudation of registration according the request of specialists and left the city for two months. Again that time, without any support I payed around 3oo dollars for delay of tax reports, which I found unfair.
This year I decided to open again, and I prepared all documents for submission. I found that my tax ID is not working from 2011 without any notice. Even I used to come to tax office many times. What is so buractratic is that the tax specialists told me that I did not liquidate my PE so that I have supply tax reports for the latest 5 years and pay fine. I found it not only professional, but also so bureaucratic and systematic problem of Tax Offices of Kazakhstan. Again, there were a lot of people in line, who has the same story and who do not how to solve. I was suprised today when the officer told me that it is my fault. It costs me a lot of time. But it seems that tax officers interested not in developing businesses in Astana, Kazakhstan but destroying them, especially small and medium sized ones.
