Elle Buford claimed to be selling a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 on Craiglist. On my insistence that no payment will be made until I receive the product, she provided Collectplus Canada as a third party agent who would deliver the product to me, and I will pay for the phone, but only after inspecting the item.This is how it (supposed to) work. I pay Collectplus Canada, who would hold my money until I communicate them that I am satisfied with the product before they transfer the money to Elle Buford. Seems legit? Wrong. Collectplus is a British Company that does not deliver outside the country. When I waited for two weeks without delivery of the phone, I called Collectplus (the real one in Britain) and was told that they do not deliver outside Britain.

- wow! same happened to me and I am usually pretty cautious. Not this time. If anyone has luck getting their money back, let me know.

- No, the real CollectPlus, based in the United Kingdom, says there is an investigation currently in process. Whether they are sufficiently committed to shutting down ELLE BUFORD's operation is doubtful, otherwise they should have asked further details from me and solicited my assistance in the process. Plus, they would need evidence against the fraudster in the event that he/she is caught. I am a credible witness. Yet, they failed to document my identity and contact information.Go figure.
