I put my 18 year old foster child on a greyhound bus to go to Los Angeles CA. A day later she called me and told me she was told by some lady on the bus that she could make hundreds per day sailing magazines. I told her get away from her and go wait by the security person in the bus, of course she didn't listen. My child told me she wanted to come home so maybe she could sale these magazines for a few days and then come home(so I wouldn't have to spend more money). I told her I would call my daughter in San Diego and she would pick her up. I called my Daughter and then called my foster child, she did not answer her phone again, finally I got to talk to her and she said its ok I'm working selling magazines and she had a free place to live and eat. She didn't act the same and was very short on the phone. This child has always answered her phone and text with in minutes, plus she calls and text me and her friends all day every day. I told her to come home, to go to the bus station and I would call an get her a ticket, if course she said no don't worry it's fine. Now today 9/7/13 I have called her and texted her but her phone just goes to decline mode every-time. She has not been in touch with anyone she knows. I'm very worried. I never thought she wouldn't make it to her aunt's home. I've been reading on this door to door magazine sales and how they put these kids out to sale fraudulent magazines and then if they don't sale them they are berated and even beat up. I have tried to contact this magazine company but I can not find a number on them. I think they may have taken her cell phone.
