I drove out to Bean Station from Johnson City (1 1/2hrs one way) where I met the whole family. The wife Tracy Drury husband David Drury and their kids(grown) Stephanie and their son who's name I don't remember. I saw them actively working on two sheds and a chicken coop. There was never any indication that they would take my money and not deliver the shed. To comment on another post it is a home not an office and they have a ton of dogs. But I didn't think anything of it being a home, my fiance does computer work out of our home and he never rips anyone off. So I gave them the money no real contract just a receipt and a time line. 2 months and I would have a 10x16 low wall barn style shed insulated for $1100 spring special. I actually ordered 3/28/13 but was understanding to their excuses, they all seemed reasonable. So every time I called they would extend the deadline and every time I would get a little more agitated. The last straw was when I called over and over leaving many messages over a 3 day span and then I had my mother in-law call to act like she wanted a building; they called her back in hours. Now that I am asking for a refund they will not even acknowledge me. I don't have a lot of money and I spent our vacation money on this shed. Something we desperately need and still don't have. My 2 and 3 year old wanted to go to the beach for the first time and I opted for a shed thinking well they are so young and we'll have this for a really long time..yada yada. I feel like the bad mom of the year because I took from my kids to give to a bunch of greedy (Inappropriate Content Removed)! I can't really afford a lawyer but I am thinking of going to small claims court and all I can say is I hope they all go to jail for fraud over this. When I found this site saying how much their total damages caused to other people just like me is...I can't believe I fell for it. If you're shopping for a shed pay a little extra and go to the Amish they're great. Although I wont be able to get one for another year or so I have to re-save enough and probably wont go on vacation next year either. I wonder if I can sue for pain and suffering due to stress of lack of vacation.
