My boyfriend and I are both college students in Northern California and were cleaning up our apartment because we were moving and this guy knocks on the door. When I opened the door the guy INSTANTLY started talking, non-stop. He kept giving high-fives and ended up talking his way into the apartment. I honestly don't know how it happened. I never agreed to pay anything yet he was already writing down information. He was incredibly sneaky. WATCH OUT FOR THAT, just say NO. He kept saying it was either for kids or troops. Long story short, my boyfriend lost 50 bucks- which is a LOT for us since we are college students...that's a lot of laundry, a lot of dinners....

- This happened in Arcata, California, around Aug. 17th. The back of the receipt he gave us says we can send it in to cancel our transaction, but it must be postmarked no later than 3 days after the original date of sale. Problem is...the guy didn't write the date on it. I don't have high hopes of that coming through...I did try calling the number on the back of the receipt and it didn't even ring, just all of a sudden some woman said hello. Definitely not a reliable number.
