i found this website www.iofeo.com and browsed through their website. They have gadgets and electronics for sale there at low low prices which were very enticing. Of course I was skeptical despite knowing that China is now the world's factory and you can get products there very cheap direct from the factories. Before I made my purchase I sent them an email and spoke to their ref on msn. They were very friendly and sounded very convincing and I browsed some more through their website and found that they have gotten lots of inquiries but none suggested negative and they have also mentioned that if I purchase items worth $300.00 or more the delivery and shipping charges will be free so I went ahead and wired the money on June 28, 2011 through Western Union. I have scanned the copy of the receipt and sent it to them. A couple hours later they sent me a tracking number which when I tried to input on that supposedly shipping company they are using came up as an error code. I tried for two days and when it didn't work I sent them an email complaining about the tracking number not working. They sent me a reply regarding a tariff charge that needs to be paid before it can be released by the Chinese customs. I was already fuming mad as the money I sent to them was my hard earned money which I have saved for months from my meager income to buy myself a present for working hard. I asked them for a proof that my order will be sent after I make the payment and they told me that they are going to send me a copy of the invoice from the customs and they did(which by now i am sure is fake)I have all the copies of the conversation on my computer and the receipts and supposed invoice. I specifically told them on my email that should they ever ask for another payment I want my money back and they said ok and assured me that it was the last payment they are going to ask from me and that I will receive my order after 4-6days via EMS. Since I made the payment on a Friday for the tariff charges on July 1,2011 they said they will give me my tracking number on Monday as soon as possible. Today is that Monday, July 4, 2011 and I sent them an email and left a message on their msn asking for my tracking number and they replied with an email ASKING FOR MORE MONEY for the shipping delivery charges. By this time, I am already very mad, disappointed and frustrated. I have been scammed and this is my first experience in online purchase. I am totally not going to do another online purchase again. I know I probably wont get my money back anymore but I hope there will be people who can read this and take action against the rampant online scamming schemes. There goes my hard earned money.
