Fraud! Ibexica.com ! In July 22, I order "Apple ME665LL/A 15.4" MacBook Pro Notebook Computer with Retina Display " from Ibexica. Order number: 128699. Sales Representative: Sofia Reed.
They did not give me an option to purchase directly from them using my credit card. I was asked to send them the Amazon gift certificate as they insisted on. I thought that they might have been associated with Amazon in some way. I trust Amazon very much. I am a prime customer of Amazon.

they can not do nothing for my case. Is USA a Nation of laws? None can help our consumers to punish those swindlers. Who can help us? Very disappointed!

  • Call Amazon, ask for a manager, and request that they put a freeze on the gift card and issue you a refund. I did that yesterday, and I'm getting a refund for mine. Let me know how you make out.

  • I emailed to Amazon. I got the reply bellow. Would you like to tell me the Amazon Manager's name and phone number? Thank you very much.
    "Hello,

I am very sorry to hear about what happened with this transaction. I realize that a significant amount of money is at stake, and sympathize with your frustration.

Since your order was not placed with Amazon.com, we have no record of your transaction with this Ibexica.com. All valid Amazon Merchant and Marketplace orders must be placed via the Shopping Cart or 1-Click ordering and must be paid for through Amazon. Payments made through other means, such as wire transfers, are not covered by our A-to-z Guarantee, which covers seller transactions made on our website.

E-mail forgeries are regrettably common on the Internet at this time; some signs that an e-mail appearing to be from Amazon.com is actually a forgery include poor grammar or typographical errors, and a suspect return address. If the "from" line of the e-mail looks like "[email protected]" or "[email protected]," or contains the name of another internet service provider, you can be sure it's a fraudulent e-mail.

As it appears you've been the victim of fraud, you may want to contact your local postal inspector or visit one of the following organizations:

Federal Trade Commission Bureau of Consumer Protection
    http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/complaint.htm

    U.S. Postal Inspection Service
    https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/

You may also want to visit our Help pages to learn more about making sure your online transactions are safe and secure:

    http://www.amazon.com/o/tg/browse/-/10412241

The vast majority of Marketplace orders are trouble-free; I apologize once again that your experience with this seller has been an exception to this standard.

We hope to see you again soon.

    Best Regards,

    Athena L.

  • If you go to the Amazon support website, there's a section where you have them call you. Use that, and as soon as you get on the phone, request a manager. The person who helped me was Cey L. - I don't know a last name, but that's what it said in the follow-up e-mail. I had to call a few times, and eventually request to speak to a manager. The first two times I called, the request was forwarded to the gift card support team and they could not help me, but I spoke to Cey and was able to get a refund and the gift card cancelled.
