I received a phone call stating that I was approved for a quick loan of $10,000.00. I said no I do not need that much. Then he asked how much do I want to borrow I said $1,000.00. H said I would have to go to Walmart and put $110.00 on a green dot money pak and call him back when I do it.I told him that I did not have 110.00 and he said well send $70 and then I could pay the rest with my first monthly payment. He knew my bank, bank routing number and my checking account number plus my date of birth and last 4 digits of my social security number. This was so convincing even though I know that I did not apply for a loan but I was in need of some cash so I went for it. I called him and gave him the number on the green do tcard! I am so mad at myself for falling for this SCAM! I went to BBB site before sending it and the website he gave me. Call myself checking it out before I sent the money and of course nothing is on BBB site. After realizing I had been SCAMMed i went back to the site and made a complaint about what happened. I received an email to from Eloan.com which should appear on their site if they really cared about their name being used. Here it is:

Please note that we do not contact customers requesting the use of any greendot card. E-LOAN is no longer originating loans. We are currently servicing Savings and CD accounts online. We have not and will NOT attempt to get in contact with you regarding any loans since we are not a lender.

Should you receive any phone calls from companies claiming to be E-LOAN, please be aware as it may be a fraud attempt.
