Same story with her being a sargeant stationed in Madrid Spain, being deployed to Afghanistan. Needs the cash quickly. Google sent me an invoice to send a Western Union Money Gram to Donna Campos in Madrid Spain. I asked for the VIN # to get an insurance quote. The Vin# did not match the description of the vehicle. The vehicle is crated up in Ft. Belvoir and will be shipped to me at her expense. When she did not receive the money, she inquired about it. I told her that western union would not accept the money because it was scam, also Google has no agent by the name of Donna Campos, and the local police also concurred that it was a scam. So I did not send the money. When I told her the VIN # was incorrect, she immediately gave me another that does match the description of the vehicle, however the reply address for google is [email protected]. So in googling this address I stumbled onto this website which gave me the indication of a scam brewing. I am not out any money since I did not send any, however, enough people have told the same story to prove to me that I should not send the money.
