My husband was searching for an online loan and was contacted by a man named Jacob who told him he was approved for 2500 but he has to pay 150 on a green dot card first. My husband told him he had to discuss it with me first and we would call back.when we called back we spoke to Adam who gave us a website of www.cashloanusa.com to verify their info since it sounded too good to be true. I looked it up while we were on the phone and was unable to find any company info, only a search engine for loans. Adam said his company owned all those companies. He kept insisting we send the money and that this was not a scam and was actually quite argumentative with my husband. We ended the call with him by telling him we would not be doing it after all. After that I found this page which confirmed our suspicions and he actually called back to ask us again if we sent the money! We reiterated we were not sending it and when he asked why we told him we changed our minds and he hung up on us. This is definately a case of let the buyer beware!
