I called regarding a house listed on Trulia. I questioned the representative a dozen times about why I was not going to pay $40 before seeing the property. He told me it was a scheduling fee that would be taken off my first month of rent if I went to lease this house. He assured me it was not a scam and sent me to his site to show the "accredited business" logo on the left. I paid the $40 and said I wanted to automatically cancel it for August 23rd, a month from today. He said that was fine. As soon as I paid, the representative hung up fast, I signed into the site and realized the listing I had called about on Trulia was not even one listed. This site was a bunch of foreclosures and mortgage plans, not even close to what I explained I wanted.
