On July 20, 2013 I signed up for the Web Profits from Home. It says Free. They say that I have to enter my credit card number to verify my age. I did it. I got an email regarding my username and password fro their site. When I got in the bank called me that I was billed $20.541 (Php888). After that, that's when I realized that they are going to bill me. I started calling their number to talk to a customer representative, but no one is answering me on this number 0018669204078. Then I tried to call the other number but I can't connect to them. It says on their website that their representative is available from Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00 EST. Hope that you can help me. I don't want to be billed again. I'll try to call them again later this evening. Thank you for your help.

Sorry to hear you lost your money to this website. From what I've been able to know, this homewebprofit.com is a complete scam and the associated promoting website newsonlineweekly.com is also not real.
You better lodge a complaint to the cyber cell. Give them their website & contact details. Also freeze your account as soon as possible.
Here's a few tips to follow when it comes to detecting scams:
1. Always do some research about the website before joining it. Search for reviews & complaints about the website on Google.
2. If a site tells you can make 100s of dollar per day within weeks and that you do not require any special skills for it, only an internet connection, don't trust that site.
3. Making money online is not a simple task. It definitely requires knowledge & experience. Advanced marketing & promoting skills are required. Websites will only say it is easy to persuade to join you.
If you have any specific skill you can always do freelancing jobs online like writing articles, web designing, blog posting etc. Just search for freelance jobs in Google.
4. If a website asks you for a membership fee that is more than 300 rupees, don't join it.
5. Please don't ever give your credit card info. to any local sites. If necessary, you should make sure that the website is highly popular & trustworthy with no record of any
complaints in it's name. -
