I believe Gavin entered into a relationship with me for the sole purpose of extracting money from me. He claimed he had lost everything due to trading on the share market.I foolishly gave him $5,500 so he could keep afloat and pay bills etc. However I believe he used that money to place on the share market. I ended the relationship as it became clear he was really after my finacial interests. He has claimed he will repay the money but I don't hold any faith in that.

- Gavin swindled me for $60,000 in 1987 while I was in Brisbane, Australia claiming that he was a legitimate share and options trader. I left Australia in the year after that before he was later charged and imprisioned for similar offences - and so I was unable to prosecute the matter. I am glad to see that the law caught up with him eventually but what alarms me is to see the above report as late as 2013. A possible indication that some people do not change.
