My mother, had an account with Meaningful Beauty products in 2012. In December of 2012, my mother passed away. My sister then called the company and let them know that my mother was deceased and cancelled the account. The company said if any products arrived, my (87 year old) father should not open the package, but return it to the company and they would credit his Chase card account. By 3/25/13 no credit was forthcoming. The company confirmed that the package had been received (Ronald 5/25) and through numerous calls (Ashley 6/30, Mark 7/7, Brandon 7/12, and Carrie 7/18) promises were made that a refund check was 'in the mail." On 7/19, I got a very distressed call from my father regarding this issue. I called the company and I'm sure got the call center which probably can't do anything. I got more promises from Melissa and Barbie that the check had been mailed on July 11. Does the US Mail service really take over a week to get a letter from Iowa to South Carolina? I asked for written confirmation via fax or email, and was told they had to have the company call me. I'm still waiting. Help! I can supply the name, address and acct.# info if necessary.
