while visiting my son in the hospital in Athens, Ga. I asked my wife if she wanted to drive home or stay in Athens. We live an hour and a half away. She and I decided to stay over so she called what she thought was the Best Western Hotel and asked the rate and so fourth. I thought the rate was fair so I handed my wife my Bank of America credit card and she gave the information to the person on the other end of the line. While she was still on the line I remembered that I had a early appointment the next morning so I told her to cancel the reservation. The foreigner she was talking to said the reservation could not be canceled because the transaction had already been posted. Now all this took place on the same call. I have been going back and fourth with Bank of America since Sept. 2012 and this fraudlent charge is affecting my credit score. I canceled my account with Bank of America several monthes ago but I am still being billed for a motel room that never saw much less stayed in. This is one big scam!
