Legalhelpersdebt resolution, LLC., is an Irvine, Ca. (P. O. Box 14010) zip code 14010, enterprise that promises "unsurpassed services" and then provides none. One signs a computer-generated "contract" with no signatures on Legal helpers' part, accepts your money, and then contacts your creditors on your behalf to negotiate payments at a reduced rate. And, in fact, those transactions have occurred. But in recent months when I've tried to get my account balances, find out fee schedules, get copies of settlement letters, and find out how much cash is in my account they don't, after numerous attemps, respond. So after having given them some $24,000 I don't have settlement letters on the settled accounts. I was told by another collection agency (Collectcorp Corp) that an account I was told had been settled was still open. Legal Helpers has closed my email access account so now I'm unable to get at my own file. Since they've refused to send me the requested documentation I don't know what is in my cash account or what creditors still have open charges against me.
In one instance, after I had signed up for their legal assistance program, I was sued by Key Bank only to find out they'd never signed me up. Appearing in court without legal representation cost me $35,000 which had to be paid out of our retirement fund. This mismanagement is typical of their entire operation relative to my account. They changed my contact officer so many times I had to begin every telephone contact as if it was the first time. And all the promised documentation I'd requested on settled accounts, with the exception of one (out of nine ) no further statements were ever received. So in July, after telling them what I planned to do if I did not receive the requested reports, I placed stop payment offers on their attempts to withdraw monies from my bank account.
Then in late September I received their first and only letter indicating that they'd closed my account. My email code was refused. So now I'm reporting this incompetent and perhaps fraudent company to the Governor'sC onsumer Protection agency in the hopes of getting all the records on my account, and the return of monies sent that were never used to pay off my debts.
