Called me on the phone and told me that I could make money renting my time share for 6 weeks @ $899/wk for a fee of $594.00. When I said I didn't have $594 available, they said they would settle for $500 on my credit card ( that maxxed it out ). I thought this was great because it would let me catch up on my payments to Worldmark because I was behind. I did not know at the time that Worldmark had re-poed my ownership and was going to issue a 1099. This did not seem to faze Get-Away, since they did not bother to find out that I was no longer an owner. Not only did they take my money, but entered into an illegal contract with a non-owner, and did not amend the contract to reflect the change in the fee. Also, they charged my credit card 4 days before the contract was signed. Tried to track down the transaction on my card to get the phone # - called the # and it was no longer in service.
