I was looking online for a payday advance loan and after seeing the interest these daylight robbers charge i decided otherwise. I had however filled out a couple of forms online before i noticed the interest rate. i got a phone call from one of the lenders a few days later and i told them i had decided against borrowing from ANY of these companys as i had accuired a personal loan from a friend and heard nothing more until today. Today i recieved a txt message from powermoney.co telling me they had taken the membership money from my bank account! I KNOW i did not sign up for a £69.99 membership with this group and to be honest if you can afford a £69.99 membership you dont need a LOAN. i called powerloans on this number 0844 704 9707 and was told by their "advisor" that it WAS NOT THEIR FAULT i didnt read the fine print!!!!! I explained i had NOT singed up for ANY membership and I admit to swearing at the "advisor" and she promptly hung up. So off to the bank I went where I was told with much sympathy I was NOT the first person to come to the bank with this kind of complaint however there wasnt much to be done other than to deactivate my cash card to avoid further debits being taken. I am so angry i took a loan from a friend which POWERLOAN.CO TOOK FROM ME That i have to pay back!! As far as im concerned I was ROBBED of £69.99 and I WILL FIGHT THIS GROUP UNTIL THE VERY END.
