I paid Metro Construction $10,800.00 to install a new roof which included a ridge vent on two sections of the roof on my house located at 10880 West Belmont Ave in Littleton, Colorado. They installed the ridge vents but installed them wrong and it failed inspection. They were supposed to come back and fix the ridge vent with the right size nails. I've called them a few times about getting this corrected and they refuse to come out and correct the problem. I talked to the Jefferson County Inspector that did the inspection and he informed me that the Permit for the roof was still open pending the final corrections that need to be done. This was back on 5/24/2013 is when the first final inspection was done, the same time I made the final payment. What can I do to get them to finish there work besides having to file a lawsuit and take them to court?
