Spoke with Scott regarding my Kenmore Double Door Refrigerator. Explained the ice maker line was leaking. He told me the service call would be included in the charges if we had him do the repairs.
I asked how much it would cost and he said around $65.00 to $75.00 depending on the exact problem.
Came to my house and changed the water line that was leaking. Left the replaced line for me. My roommate gave him my personal check and he did not leave a business card or invoice for the work he did.
One month later the water is coming out from under the refrigerator again! We pulled out the refrigerator and sure enough it is the same problem. My walls were soaking wet!! I did not know how to contact Scott. I had found his company on-line and could not find it again. I went into my bank and requested a copy of my cancelled check. When I received the check I noticed it was made out to PROMPT and deposited to a US Bank in Saint Paul, Minn!
I did more research on-line and finally found the company.
I called and spoke with Scott and told him what happened. He said no problem, but can I call you back I am on a service call. That was over a month ago!! He never called back and I have left numerous messages asking him to please call. I have also noticed there are a lot of other complaints similar to mine about this company. They have another address 8900 W Cactus Road, Peoria, AZ.
I have been living without the water and icemaker here in AZ at 115 degrees! I would like to have this fixed, however I cannot trust this company based on everything that has happened. I would like my money back and $50.00 for the material to repair the walls that were soaked.
