a young man came to my door this evening stating he was the son of a neighbor who was collecting money for kids and that it was a charitable donation. He said the money went toward kid's education and school supplies. I wrote a check for $68. Later noticing he never mentioned magazine subscriptions and didn't even have my correct address on the receipt. Definitely a scam.
