He claimed to be a civil engineer from the US, working on a bridge project in Accura, Ghana. He had left his carry on bag with all his money at home. He first needed money to open up a bank account, so he can get his first installment for the project. Then he needed money for the receipt of the gold bars that held him in Dubai airport (trying to come back to the US). Then he needed money for proof that he was allowed to take the gold bars out of Ghana. He was held in security during this time. He supposedly had $75, 000 on him, which was converted into travelers checks, that he couldn't convert. He then needed money for papers that allowed him bring the gold bars into the US (JFK customs). He was held in security, until proof was provided. All the money had to be sent to his driver in Ghana, since the papers had to be released there. The last payment the drivers son collapsed and he spent the money. He asked me to resend the money, and to this day he has still not shown up. He stopped emailing me and turned off his phone.
