This horrible pathetic excuse for a human being answered my Craigslist ad - I was looking for concert tickets to a sold out show. Through text we agreed on a price, and he sent me a photo of his passport (that include the passport number) as well as gave me a link to his Facebook profile. I was leery of the transaction, but really really wanted the tickets and let my desire to see the show cloud my judgement. I sent half of the payment that we agreed on - the other half was to be sent after I received the email with PDF tickets. Needless to say, it never arrived and he will no longer answer my texts, calls and emails, and has blocked me from his Facebook account. People like this need to be taught a lesson. I sure learned one.

- Started a VPD case # Today. Will follow through tomorrow. Have a feeling the common people could track this guy down with the info so far...he's made some pretty stupid mistakes. Will keep you all posted. This makes me mad. And nobody needs to see how much rage can motivate me.

- Hi how did you resolve the situation? I tried to call the VPD non emergency line and they told me I have nothing to report because it was over craigslist and they can't do anything about it. I'm just wondering how you did your report?

- Same thing just happened to me... he said he was in Victoria and couldn't meet me to give tickets so we exchanged ID photos via text and he said he would transfer me the tickets through Ticketmaster... that was 3 hrs ago and I've seen that the money's been deposited in his account and still I have no tickets and he won't respond to my text messages! The email he gave me was [email protected] -- I don't think that the ID photo or any of the ID's he's used in the past with people to scam them, is actually him though so not sure how to find him?!

NOOOO!!! Don't send him any money!! He's a scammer! People - NEVER let these people bully you. You won't get it back unless you call the police.
