My husband was a chiropractor in Johnson City, TN and we were purging our x-rays. We called Global and then Justin Smith contacted us. He came by and got the x-rays plus a canister of silver. He quoted to us that it would be 2.85 per pound for the x-rays (1,866.65) adn the canister would be up to as much as 3,000. He gave us a certificate to say that it was safe due to the HIPPA law and everything would be done accordingly. He called my husband back and told him he would have a check on the following Monday. We have not had a call back from the company or from Justin Smith. I feel that this company is fradulent. When you call the Global phone line you get someone's voice mail everytime. Scott Anderson is the name of the person used on this voicemail. The address that is given on the website is 1100 Coit Rd., Dallas, TX Please investigate Justin Smith also. At the time he picked up the film he said that he left his billfold in the hotel room but my husband got his tag number and his social security number just in case. Because I confess this was a scary thing to do. Please investigate these people and prevent this from happening to anyone else. We are possibly going to press charges against them ourselves since it is HIPPA.
