Well we weren't so smart, we wired $9000 to her last Friday and were to have it delivered tonight. We got an email yesterday saying delivery would be 24 hours late. Well the 24 hours is up, we called Amazon and the states they has nothing to do with this transaction. We just lost 9000.00 but we have the cops here now and hopefully they can help. If it looks too good to be true it is!

- I was also skeptical of this deal running in Florida Today, but did my correspondence by email. After she sent me lots of pictures, a whole car history, and other documentation, I noticed the air cleaner lid said "360HP" and the build sheet copy of the car was for a different LS6 manufactured in the northeast. I did some Chevelle research and also learned that factory air didn't come with the LS6. When I offered to look or come pick up the car myself (in SC), she said as a new widow she didn't want to deal with strangers and to just send the money via Amazon payments. I then stopped further correspondence. Price was too good to be true from the beginning. Sorry to hear you got scammed.

- She also sent me a copy of the title in her name, dated 9/23/10. Her address in SC is on there, but it's liable to be just as phony as her name. That would be about the only piece of information I could give you, other than her car history "story" with a cousin's name in there, probably the same story that you heard already.
