I saw an ad from American Careers hiring for all positions at 3 of the airports in the DMV, area,(Dc,Md, Va). I sent a money order for $39.00 and still have not received any response from the company. No email nor phone call, and it has been exactly 3 weeks today.
It is obviously a scam, giving false hope of employment while taking job seekers money for their own benefit.
I was looking forward to starting a new career in the airline field so i could take better care of my family, including my 2yro grandson.
All i want is my money back and for the "company' to come to and end. Times are hard enough on people, so for American Careers to scam innocent people out of their money,is disgusting and pitiful.

An email was sent to your gmail account on 6/25/2013 , your applicant id # as well as your Airline Career Development guide was included. I wish that you would have contacted me as American Careers phone number is posted all over the place. There have never been any problems with people receiving information in gmail accounts, but there is a first time. Again, as I have stated before American Careers is here to help and wants for you to find the position that you are interested in. We are not a scam and will be in touch with you.

Just to let you know, I went through files and found the paper work that you sent in. You sent in your file on June 14, 2013 in the PM mail batch. It got to our processing center on Monday to be sorted, It was processed on June 19,2013 and your email was sent out on 6/25/2013.
