I have just read about another unauthorised card charge from the company above. I ,too , saw an advert on the info. page of the computer praising this company and had the advantage of a newspaper columnist praising it. I applied for the 'trial 'offer and was accepted. They would send me both the 'cleanse' and the 'slim'. The 'cleanse 'arrived but not the 'slim'. I was charged on my statement for the trial offer as stated in the advert. That was fine but then I noticed the new charge debited to my account. No pills of any sort were sent to accompany this. I repeat , I did not sign up for a subscription with this co. I noticed that on the statement was 'recurring visa' . At once I rang my bank and explained what had happened. A few days later ,a new card appeared and a letter saying that they had alerted the nominated dept. and that I had to contact the firm and cancel this debit.
I was unable to raise their customer service people and where does one proceed from here?
