Company guaranteed a higher IMDB ranking for $14.95 per month. Ranking rose for one week then dropped TEN TIMES lower than its ever been. Sent emails to company asking for explanation and afterwards a refund. No response. IMDBpromo is a blatant ripoff.

Hi Richard. I work for the company and I just want to respond to your complaint.
Our company provides promotions by writing content on multiple websites that links back to to client's IMDB page. This is the same as Search Engine Optimization that top ranking websites use.
Basically, we optimize the client's IMDB page so that it ranks high in the search engines. We do this to increase its organic traffic.
If client uses Keywords that have low search volume (example: their full name) then the content we write about them will likely receive very little views.
So we believe our work did not give negative effect on your starmeter because we provide legitimate promotions.
If you are using other company's boost (which is sending fake bot traffic to your IMDB page), you should stop immediately because that method no longer works and will only harm your starmeter.
