My dad found this adorable teacup yorkie on craigslist so I checked into and even e-mailed the contact. We e-mailed back and fourth a few times and "she" said her husband had left her and she could no longer take care of the puppies so she would not sell them because "our children are not for trade" but said that it would cost $225 to ship them and get the papers put in my name. "she" asked a series of questions to make sure they were going to a good home... things like do you have any other pets? How long will she be inside? Is this your first pet? etc.... I responded that I would be happy to take a road trip down to get the puppy b/c I didn't want it to be shipped in a crate and what do you know I didn't receive one more e-mail or text. This is 100% a scam. I took a picture of the puppy and dropped it into google search and a bunch of other ads basically saying the same thing but the puppies had different names and were a different age (11 wks instead of 10). http://yorkypuppy.webs.com/ this site is the same picture of the puppy and also a SCAM! Do not respond or send money to this person. I am debating reporting it to the police simply b/c I know they have better things to do than chase these people through the internet. The phone number this person used is 1-903-900-4184. I wrote all this because I don't want anyone to fall for this scam. Hope it helps someone in the future.
