On the date in question I went in for a toothache and was told I needed my teeth cleaned which I agreed to. The told me they could do implants and said it would cost an estimate of approx. $8,000 and I said I didn't have that amount of money and they said they would would put in an application for financing. They took the information for the application and told me that CareCredit would only approve $1,800. They made an appointment for May 6, 2013 to start the work. In the meantime, I received a bill for $1,800 before the work was started. I called CareCredit to say that I did not approve them to charge that amount. They said they would investigate my dispute. On June 8,2013 they sent me a letter on plain paper paper saying they released the dispute in favor of the provider and sent a copy of the application that I signed and a copy of the dentist proposed treatment plan which did not have my signature in the box that said "I REQUEST AND AUTHORIZE THE DENTIST OR QUALIFIED ASSIGNEE TO PERFORM THE WORK DESCRIBED ABOVE", of which I never received a copy. None of the responses were on company letterhead, justed typed on plain paper. CareCredit still sending me a bill for $1,800. I don't want this on my credit as being deliquent.
