I read other complaints about Debbie F Moyer and want to share my experience. I wasn't scammed because I am very careful, but everyone needs to know how she/it starts out now. They are not very creative because they use the same email address.

I posted a room for rent in my house on Craig's List in the San Diego area. It was posted yesterday for July move in. I received a message from Debbie F Moyer several hours later. It turned up in my spam, which happens sometimes when I post on Craig's. I was suspicions because of what the message said. This is the message:

Hi there,

Is the room still available for July move-in date? I can email my bio and a pic :) Please reply with your direct email address because Craigslist generated email won’t deliver emails. Here is my direct email : [email protected]

Debbie,

Room is available. You were able to email from Craig's and could have included your information then. There is no legit reason you can't do it again. I don't like spam and won't mail you directly at this time. Here is the link to my post: Link inserted …

I won't rent to anyone before meeting in person so don't reply if you are not in the area.

No reply to my message in over 8 hours so I don’t believe I will hear anything from Debbie F Moyer again. I sent my reply BEFORE I read the complaints here. I’m sorry people have been taken by this person but there really isn’t anything you can do except tell your story and WARN others.

PLEASE be careful and SMART! If it sounds too good to be true, it is! Especially on-line when $$ is involved.
