My partner and I just attended the "90 minute" presentation at the Marriott hotel in Albuquerque, NM. It was well presented, everyone friendly, etc. We were told about the $8995 membership fee, the $399 one time processing fee, and the $199 annual renewal fees. We decided against this purchase of their services. We were lured by the promise of two American Airlines r/t airfares to anywhere in the 48 US states. When I made the reservations, I was told by "Bob" that the only additional costs would be the taxes for the tickets. After receiving the Vacation Activation Information cards, there are several more fees than had been shared with me. I wonder whether it's worth it to follow up with the "activation" fees for both the airfare and the 3 day luxury hotel and car rental vacation activation given so much negative feedback I have been reading about this group.
