We were lured into a presentation by a large sum of money: $500.00. At first, we believed their promises but as the presentation wore on, it seemed it was too good to be true. We were under great pressure to sign so we did with many reservations swirling around our heads. We knew we could back out later because of the Mexican consumer protection law which allows us 5 days to reconsider. As soon as we left, away from the salesman's influence, we realized we had made a grave mistake.That SAME DAY we called the credit card company to stop payment and emailed several addresses given to us by La Jolla to CANCEL. The next morning we flew home but were able to send a letter signed by both of us to cancel right from Mazatlan. Since then,we sent many emails and letters and phone calls but they will not refund the money.
