This company is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Our small business leased a Scanner through TimePayment Corp. and as part of our agreement, we were supposed to provide insurance for the scanner we are leasing. In Sept 2012, I changed the insurance provider and forgot to notify the TimePayment Corp. that we had changed our insurance provider.
I had automatic payments set up for the leasing payments, so it took me several months to notice that TimePayment Corp. was charging me a bit over $65.00 per month. I called them immediately and they told me that they were charging me extra because I no longer had insurance. I told them that I did indeed had insurance and I also provided them proof of that insurance on April 24, 2013. Then, on 05/06/2013, they still charged me the extra $65.00. I called them again, and I had to deal with the rep's arrogance that "We had already written the invoice for May 2013, so we still charged you the same price." I asked them to refund us not only the extra price for May 2013, (remember, I had provided them with the proof of insurance on 04/24/2013, but the insurance contained a binder from our insurance company that showed coverage of the equipment since September 2012 and that it named TimePayment Corp. as Loss Payee.)

They refused to reimburse our small business with the extra charges starting in September 2012, and furthermore, they even refused to reimburse us even for May 2013, with the pretext that they had already written the invoice for May 2013 before the date we sent them the proof of insurance.
I spoke to a specialist from DORA, Consumers Affairs, Property and Casualty and also to my attorney, and they both assured me that TimePayment Corp. was not supposed to do that, that this is not fair business and they are supposed to reimburse our small business not only for the $65.00 extra charge for May 2013, but also for the previous months, since Sept 2012. If I do not get resolution through this complaint, then I intend to fight all the charges through BBB, DORA and my attorney as well. I have all the proof that the equipment has been insured all the time, that not even a day went by without this equipment being uninsured.
Sincerely,
General Manager
