I drove my 2002 Ford Explorer to Aamco for the road test and check because my transmission was slipping in first gear and falling out of overdrive at highway speeds. The attendant called me back after the test drive and informed me that it would cost me between 2700.00 and 3700.00 to repair my vehicle, but that since I drove my truck in he could almost garantee that the cost should not be at the high end of his estimate, and that the high end of that quote usually applies to vehicles that are towed in and not drive-able. He finally called back and said my repair would be approximately 3450.00-3500.00 with a 3 year warranty. I told him that price did not line up with his quote for my vehicle since I drove it in. I declined the workh and have not received my vehicle back as of 8:30am 6/14/13
