Edwin has sent me a document to edit by july 24, 2013 and has offered to pay me 50% up front. He is suppose to send a check to me. I just read on here that he did the exact same thing to someone else and had them send money to someone else because of over payment. I believe he is trying to scam me, too. I want to make people aware of this so they don't except anything from him. I hope I can find someone to look into this and catch him.

- I received the EXACT same query! He was going to send me a check for 50% upfront. I was worried I wouldn't get the remaining 50% -- never thought I would get scammed like the other person -- although I would have never returned his "overpayment" until his check cleared. Have these people nothing better to do with themselves?

- OK I also have been a victim, but all it cost me was bank fees for returned item and excessive overdraft. My bank TD Canada Trust will be working with B of A NY on this and we might catch this guy. I sent information to my bank and I will update when there is progress. This guy did not get my money, but he certainly cost me fees and embarrassment at the worst possible time. Fortunately my bank is understanding and helpful.

I am currently emailing this guy back and forth and this shady check is in the mail.
I would love to help bust him.
Tracking the package shows him in Bethage, NY 11714.
He is using email [email protected].
Good luck anyone who can burn this rat!
