To whom it may concern:
My name is Danielle Taylor and I was scammed by a guy whose supposed name was Michael Dantzler, birthdate 4-18-72. I believe all this information to be false, because I met him on BlackChristiansingles.com and he sent me this e-mail address [email protected]. This man romantized me with words through e-mails and over the phone 234-808-0256519. He lead me to believe that he was originally from Akron, Ohio and that he was visiting his mother who was reccently ill with breast cancer. This all began on 8-26-11.

From there, he called me crying and saying that he couldn't cash his traveler's checks in Nigeria and that he had no one else because his mother's family had disowned her for marrying a caucasian man and that the same happened with his late father's family, vica versa. Also, supposedly he caught his best friend with his long time girlfriend, and he had no one, but his mom. He told me that he was out of money and he was unable to use his roundtrip ticket to come back to the U.S. He said that the roundtrip ticket had cost him about $3300.00. Now he is stranded in Nigeria and he couldn't get to his money because he had just won a case against him through his bank. Supposedly, someone had somehow stolen $28,000.00 from his account, and now he was unable to access it because they said that he needed to be there in person to retrieve it.

He had me convinced that he loved me and wanted me to be his future wife. He said that he was gonna come and visit with me for a week and then go back to Ohio, where he had an eight bedroom duplex, and three cars. He said that he wanted me to quit school and join him in his part time business of being a realtor. His main career was supposedly a sales marketer in an advertising company named Foxfire.

I foolishly fell for his lies and sent him a total of about $2,200.00, he swear to me that he would give it back to me and more once he got here from the airport. He was supposed to arrive yesterday at 5:51pm on Delta Airlines. He said he would e-mail me the details so that I could pick him up. From here, at about 12 noon yesterday, I get a call from this number, 234-816-9100384 stated that Michael had been in a terrible car accident on the way to the airport. The man said his name was Detective Stevens and he said that he called me because they found his phone and passport and I was the last number that he had called. He said that the driver was killed and that Micael's legs and elbow was broken, and that he was in a coma.

I was shock and did not believe him, he said that he would call me back with his medical status. I have heard nothing since and I believe that the pictures he sent me was not even him. On the website, and over the phone, he said that he was 39 years old. Looking at the pictures, this man looks much younger than that. I am typing this so that this scammer can be caught and no other females will have to go through this sort of added drama.

You see, I am a 32 year old, single mother, going to school full time, on a fixed income. I have no money to my name and my rent, utilites, and daily expenses will not be met and I don't know what I'm gonna do. All I can do is temporarily put school on hold and get a full time job, with overtime, so that I won't be put out on the street.

Lastly, I should have mentioned earlier, he had me to send him money via Western Union and he said that I should send it to the man at the pharmacy because he trusted him and that way, $400.00 of it could go right away for his very sick mother's medication. This was the name and address he gave:

Olaife Adewunmi
125 st. finbarr's road
Akoka, Lagos, Nigeria 23401

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my e-mail, if you have any further questions, I can be reached at [redacted] or at [redacted] .

Sincerely,

Danielle
